Collection of General Information
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and similar data. This information is solely used for technical purposes to deliver the content you requested correctly and is essential when using the internet. This information does not allow conclusions to be drawn about your person. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us to optimize our online presence and the technology behind it.
Contact Form
If you contact us via email or contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and for possible follow-up questions.
Deletion or Blocking of Data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. Therefore, we only store your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned here or as provided for by the various storage periods prescribed by the legislator. After the respective purpose has ceased to apply or these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser Add-on for Disabling Google Analytics.
In addition to the browser add-on, you can prevent Google Analytics tracking on our pages by clicking this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device, which will prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics for this website and this browser as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)
To display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
The call of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and for what purposes – that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Use of Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. For more information about Google's data processing, please refer to Google's privacy policy. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the privacy center.
Detailed instructions on how to manage your data in connection with Google products can be found here.
Google AdWords
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords customers' websites. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example, by setting your browser to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or to block cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com."
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. The function is used to present website visitors with interest-based advertisements within the Google advertising network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the visitor's browser, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages, visitors can be presented with advertisements that refer to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing function.
According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. However, if you still do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can generally deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Your Rights to Information, Correction, Blocking, Deletion, and Objection.
You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data at any time. Likewise, you have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked, or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, deleted. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose. The contact details can be found at the very bottom.
In order for data to be blocked at any time, this data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of data as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.
You can make changes or revoke your consent by notifying us accordingly for the future.
